Alex Abbey

Alex completed his architectural studies at Edinburgh University in 1998 and joined the practice soon after to work on the Greenwich Millennium Primary School and Health Centre.
He has gone on to develop proposals for several visitor facilities including the Centre for Education and Interpretation for Cambridge University Botanic Garden, Darling National Wind Farm in South Africa and a new Gateway for the World Heritage Site of Petra, Jordan.
He was Project Architect for the new Gateway building for the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, which was officially opened by HRH The Queen in July 2010. Alex is currently Project Architect for a new-build BSF Academy in Birmingham.
