Work has started on site to convert a 19th century warehouse into our new studios, while design work has commenced on a scheme for 12 residential units on the site of our existing office.
The new studios will be naturally ventilated while an air source heat pump will feed under-floor heating. A new structure will be inserted to retain the listed facade facing the canal and provide a double height office mezzanine space.
The residential building is being designed using BIM (Building Information Modelling) and will provide dual aspect accommodation by the Regent's Canal. A layered south facade of sliding windows and louvres will enable the inhabitant to passively control the internal environment.
