Stonebridge Hillside Hub Open House Virtual Tour

The Stonebridge Hillside Hub has a pivotal role in the emerging masterplan for the Stonebridge Estate in west London. It is a mixed use building, where the careful juxtaposition of uses means that each benefits from exposure to the others.

Two 'wings', one accommodating a Primary Care Trust and the other a retail unit, are fused together by a central community facility. Each wing is topped with mixed tenure residential units clad in larch timber. On the south side of the development an open civic space is cradled between the wings providing a generous public entrance court to what is a significant and welcoming civic building.

In 2010 the Hillside Hub achieved a Building for Life Gold Standard and a Building for Life Award, and the Primary Care Centre won a Building Better Healthcare Award. The overall regeneration of the Stonebridge Estate, developed by Hyde Housing, was awarded an RICS Regeneration Award in October 2010. In 2011 the Hub recieved a Special Civic Trust Award for Community Impact & Engagement.
